It’s Official: Peachtree Center is the Most Walkable Spot in Atlanta

Peachtree Center is a great place to work for a myriad of reasons, but topping the list is the great access to transit and ease of getting around on foot. Even if you drive to work, during your lunch break you most likely grab a bite to eat, run an errand or simply get your exercise without getting in a car. Real estate firm JLL, which is in charge of our office leasing, recently crunched the numbers and determined that Peachtree Center has the highest Walk Score in Atlanta, a stunning 95 (out of 100). To put that in perspective, Atlantic Station’s Walk Score is 85, Colony Square clocks in at 89 and Buckhead’s Terminus earned an 80. With plenty of restaurants, shops and errand destinations like banks and post offices just a stroll away, it’s no surprise that people who love to walk – and don’t like to sit in traffic – want to work at Peachtree Center.
