This Sunday, Atlanta Streets Alive capped its biggest year yet with their final 2016 event: Atlanta Streets Alive down Peachtree Street, Atlanta’s main artery. The event – which is spearheaded by Atlanta Bike Coalition – closes Peachtree Street from Midtown to Downtown to vehicle traffic and allows pedestrians and cyclists to make their way down, stopping at sights and happenings along the way. To get in on the fun, we brought out a face painter, lawn games, King of Pops and Tin Lizzy’s to our spot at the south end of the route. We welcomed bikers and walkers to our station throughout the afternoon.
