Yoga in the Park:
Grab your mat and go to Woodruff Park for 60 minutes of all-levels vinyasa flow yoga each Saturday at 9 a.m. in April. These fun, accessible and meditative practices will leave you feeling peaceful yet invigorated and part of a great community. Vinyasa flow is yoga that incorporates sun salutations throughout the practice, so guests will be passing through infamous downward facing dog, using their arms to chaturanga throughout practice and matching breath with movement. The flows are good for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. Yoga classes are free, open to the public and take place on Woodruff Park’s central lawn. No registration required.
Sweetwater 420 Festival:
The famous three-day weekend festival includes performances from 50+ artists in downtown Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park from April 20 through April 22. The lineup includes SCI, Umphrey’s, Tedeschi Trucks, Sturgill, Vulfpeck, JRAD, Greensky, SOJA and many more!
In addition to the music festival, give a new meaning to the term “beer run” by joining Sweetwater for the 14th Annual SweetWater 420 Fest 5K on April 21. at 8:30 a.m. at Centennial Olympic Park.

Superhero Day at Georgia Aquarium
Celebrate Earth Day by being a superhero for the sea! On April 21, learn how you can help protect marine life through interactive activities. Special activities will be held in the atrium from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and include a recycling & compost prize wheel, pot decorating craft, The Home Depot kids workshop, a photo station and Superhero Academy!
Additionally, kids 12 and under who come dressed as a superhero will receive free admission with each paying adult from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. With great power comes great responsibility, so make sure you use your power to protect our ocean.
