TinyCON

On Sept 1 and Sept 2, grab your light sabers and head to Children’s Museum of Atlanta for our second annual TinyCON: a two-day celebration of fantasy, science fiction, comics, gaming, and technology just for kids! Pick up a pencil and draw with Art Educators in a special cartoon character design class, or mix potions with Hogwarts classmates at the science bar. Design your own lightsaber to prepare for the Jedi Training course and take apart tech in the Android Repair Shop. Both princesses and knights can decorate shields in the Art Studio, blend their own Peach Smoothie in Princess Peach’s cooking class and more. Costumes are encouraged!

Purchase your timed-general admission tickets ONLINE to access Fast Pass tickets. Members are free but are encouraged to reserve Fast Pass tickets in advance in order to guarantee admission. Admittance is based on capacity.

Walk to Defeat ALS

The Atlanta Walk to Defeat ALS is The Georgia Chapter’s largest annual fundraising event. Since 2000, the Walk to Defeat ALS® national program has raised more than $262 million in support of The ALS Association’s mission: to create a world without ALS.

On Saturday, Sept. 8, people will come together to walk a few miles, and in turn, provide hope for people living with ALS. Register today to walk in honor, in memory or to simply support the fight against ALS.
