Peachtree Center Hosts First Survivor Series for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month and Peachtree Center is hosting its first Survivor Series! All month long, we’ll be sharing inspirational stories from breast cancer survivors, tips to help you maintain awareness, information on how you can help fight for a cure and more.

Know someone with an inspiring story? Want to share your own fight with breast cancer with a message of hope and awareness? We would love to hear about these journeys.

Just send us an email that answers the questions below along with photos of yourself or your inspiration to ptcsurvivorseries@gmail.com and we’d be delighted to feature you or someone special to you.

If you’d prefer to remain anonymous, just let us know, and you can give as little or as much information as you’d like. It’s all about sharing stories of hope and educating our Peachtree Center family about the impact of this disease and how anyone can help with support, early detection and, ultimately, the fight for a cure.

  1. Tell us about your survivor (Is it you? Someone special to you?)
  2. Tell us about your/their journey through detection, the fight, and, ultimately, survival
  3. What helped you/them get through the fight? Who/what kept you/them going?
  4. What message would you give to other people affected by this disease or who may not know much about its impact during Breast Cancer Awareness Month?
