Habitat for Humanity is relocating its downtown Atlanta headquarters. The organization, which works to eliminate substandard housing, has signed a 54,603-square-foot lease at the Marquis Two Tower in Peachtree Center. Habitat for Humanity is moving from downtown’s 270 Peachtree. It plans to occupy the new space by November.

The enlivening of downtown walls in preparation for Super Bowl LIII isn’t limited to the 30 works going up as part of Off The Wall: Atlanta’s Civil Rights and Social Justice Journey, a team effort by local arts organization WonderRoot and the Super Bowl Host Committee. Downtown’s landmark Peachtree Center, which is undergoing a facelift, is also joining the mural frenzy—in a highly visible way. On a massive section of the property’s facade facing Peachtree Center Avenue, celebrated French street artist Hopare (aka, Alexandre Monteiro) is painting his first mural in the Southeast, titled Symphony.

Habitat for Humanity has signed a 54,603-square-foot lease at Marquis Two tower at Peachtree Center in Downtown. The nonprofit is moving its administrative headquarters from 270 Peachtree and will occupy its new space by November 2019. “We are thrilled to welcome Habitat for Humanity to Peachtree Center,” said Deming Fish, senior vice president and principal at Colliers Atlanta. “The increased vibrancy and growth in Downtown Atlanta and its surrounding neighborhoods, combined with Peachtree Center’s renovation nearing completion, effectively positioned Marquis Two as the ideal home for the nonprofit, adding to our roster of tenants dedicated to doing good both in Atlanta and around the world.”
